Cooking Tallow

  1. Heat your cast iron skillet or cooking vessel over medium-high heat
  2. Add a small amount of tallow (it melts quickly)
  3. Once melted and shimmering, add your ingredients
  4. Tallow has a high smoke point, making it ideal for searing and frying
  5. Use for roasting vegetables, searing meats, or making crispy potatoes
  6. Store in a cool, dark place in an airtight container
  7. Tallow can be reused multiple times—strain and store after each use
  8. For best flavor, use within 6 months of opening

Leather Conditioner

  1. Clean your leather item with a soft, damp cloth and let dry completely
  2. Apply a small amount of conditioner to a clean cloth
  3. Rub the conditioner onto the leather in circular motions
  4. Work in small sections, ensuring even coverage
  5. Pay special attention to creases and high-wear areas
  6. Buff away any excess with a dry cloth
  7. Allow to cure for 24 hours before use
  8. Condition every 3-6 months depending on use and climate

Hand Salve

  1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly
  2. Apply a small amount of salve to the back of one hand
  3. Rub your hands together to distribute evenly
  4. Massage into hands, focusing on dry areas and cuticles
  5. Allow to absorb for a few minutes before handling items
  6. Use 2-3 times daily, especially after washing hands or working outdoors
  7. For intensive repair, apply before bed and wear cotton gloves overnight
